Book Review: The Story of With by Allen Arnold

I bought this book for an upcoming book study I am doing with a creative ministry group I’m a part of. I started reading and ended up finishing it in just a few days, and it is truly one of the best books I have ever read! I thoroughly enjoyed this book and it really spoke to my heart. I have read many books on creativity and more than a few on our identity in Christ, but never have I read one like this. After setting up his thesis, Mr. Arnold takes us on a journey in the form of a parable/story that illustrates the concepts beautifully. After reading this book, I am seriously reconsidering the way I write my next book because Arnold’s method was just so effective. The closest thing I can relate this to is Andy Andrews’ Masterpiece, The Traveler’s Gift. If anything, this book may have touched me even more. I loved this book. If you have any interest at all in creativity, faith, the intersection of the two, and how it all relates to our relationship with God in Christ, please pick this up and ready it for yourself.
