Great Quote from “The Sandlot”

I was at Hobby Lobby today picking up some supplies for a hobby project, when I saw this plaque.

Here’s the thing. I’m not sure if it’s one chance, but I suspected that if we are gifted by God, who completely knows what He’s doing, then it seems only reasonable to make the most of every opportunity. As a matter of fact, the Bible says as much.

“¹⁵ Be very careful, then, how you live—not as unwise but as wise,¹⁶ making the most of every opportunity, because the days are evil.¹⁷ Therefore do not be foolish, but understand what the Lord’s will is.” Ephesians 5:15-17. You and I who live today were created for such a time as this. Our gifts talents and opportunities were set in place by God for this time. Make to most of it.
