Faithfulness
Look in 2020 I had all these great ideas around vision, and all kinds of things I thought of trying before the world exploded. At that point I had a realization, which is again nothing new, but it was emphasized. God doesn’t need me. He loves me. He desires to be with me. He gave His only Son for me, but He doesn’t need me. Instead He has gifted me to do something good in this world and He provides opportunities to use that gift in His service and in the service of others. My calling is not to succeed, success and failure are in His hands. My job and my only job is faithfulness, putting my gifts to the best use I can and putting what I do in God’s hands, trusting Him with the outcome. So this year I am just going to strive to be faithful. How about you?
