The Glue Bomb Show Experiment

Posted: October 15, 2021 in Uncategorized

I’ve been trying to figure out how to use YouTube more effectively. My ministry channel, AMOKArts, is primarily full of long format sermons, and needless to say I would love to see them reach a larger audience because I believe these are messages the Lord has given me for the church and the world around us. That being said, it’s hard to get people to listen to a half hour message. I decided to try to learn some new skills by creating some shorter, easy to create videos based around my hobby (plastic model building) to see if I could “crack the code” of spreading messages to a larger audience on YouTube. The result is something I call The Glue Bomb Show. The phrase Glue Bomb is sort of a slang for a poorly built model, and needless to ay I ma not advocating that, but most of the content on model building out there is for the person who seems to have unlimited time and budget to throw into little plastic cars. I decided to build a channel for the rest of us, i.e. the people who have a few minutes here and there to glue a few pieces. I’ve been having a good bit of fun with it, but so far with 54 subscribers, I don’t feel like I cracked the code. I decided to post a clip here, the most recent post, to see if anyone on here can give me a few pointers. Again the main reason I created The Glue Bomb Show was to figure out how to reach a larger mass of people so I can increase the reach of my true calling, spreading the Gospel. Your input is highly appreciated.
