In this art challenge I’m a part of Day 12’s prompt was “stuck” I decided to include a still from a video I’m working on. There’s a place where they trap monkeys. What they do is make a jar with an opening big enough that a monkey’s hand can fit in, but it’s fist won’t come back out. They put something the monkey wants into the jar. It seems the monkey will not let go of what is in there no matter what, leading to his demise. What a metaphor for the stuff we hold on to in life.
