In this week’s passage (Matthew 10:1-23) Jesus was sending the disciples out for the first time without Him. This is the day the disciples became Apostles. The passage applies to us because all followers of Christ are disciples and all are called to go out into the world communicating the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
