WWJD? Etc.

While I was away, I was given one of those rubber WWJD? Bracelets but this one is quite unique. It was designed by one of the camp counselors. It says WWJD? JWPNHGHHITSITFP, which stands for Jesus Would Probably Not Have Gotten Himself Into The Situation In The First Place. I have to admit I found it kind of humorous and yet there is a certain appeal to it. So often we ask What Would Jesus Do? we think He would do whatever it is that we want to do, and that can lead to disastrous results. We need to look at the Word and ask the question What Did Jesus Do? otherwise we end up in situations that Jesus would not have gotten Himself into I the first place.
