I’m in the really early stages of working on this, but I thought I’d let you all know about it. It’s called Evangelism is Love. The basic idea is pretty simple. How can you love someone and not share with them the key to eternal life? As Paul wrote “the love of Christ compels us” to share the Gospel, but how do we do it? How do we speak the truth in love? How do we speak to a culture that is increasingly hostile to the Gospel? Well, I believe the truth of the matter is summed up in Jesus’ new commandment: Love one another. That’s how people are supposed to know we belong to Jesus, and it may very well be the best way to help them want to belong to Him too.
So, in a sense, evangelism is love and love is evangelism. I believe evangelism is the most crucial need of the church today, next to the power of Christ of course. My prayer is that this will come together well and be a blessing to many. Of course, all the other presentations will also be available.
