me at taborHi everyone,
Over the last few weeks, I have been blessed to do quite a few different creative arts ministry presentations in a few different contexts and they have all been a real blessing.
I painted and did the invocation at a huge banquet benefitting a ministry that helps the homeless, I did Pictures of Jesus as a Sunday Morning Service at a Church, workshops and seminars at a church planting conference, pulpit supply/painting at the church where I came to Christ and a chapel service at Christian school, along with a few evening programs. It’s been a great blessing to me, but I will let the people I did these things for tell you what they thought.

Dave spoke at our Junior/Senior High school chapel and had the
students’ attention the whole way through. His message was Biblically driven,
clear, appropriate, and made alive by his paintings which he created in their
presence.

Dave did “Pictures of Jesus” for our Sunday morning service and
it was very well received. Many people commented how powerful it was and they
particularly liked the variety of ways in which Dave ministered. I realize that
most churches would use this as an evening event but we found that by using it
as a Sunday morning event we experienced some additional benefits:
1. We promoted it via Facebook and also as an “invite a friend to church”
Sunday, so we had quite a few visitors that day. It gave our members a “safe”
easy entry-point to invite their non-church friends to church.
2. It gave our regular staff the morning off. They got to really experience the
morning and be ministered to by Dave in a powerful way. Our pastor (who is
artistic but often doesn’t get to delve into that on Sunday morning) even got a
chance to create his own work of art as he “doodled” during the presentation.
It was very powerful and we had a great morning with Dave and AMOKArts!!

Dave put in all the hard work and extra effort that was needed to
have the Special Invocation for Tabor Community Services’ 46th Annual Banquet go
off perfectly. They really liked Dave’s painting and interpretation of the Good
Samaritan – LOVE STOPS. In the room filled with over 500 people, you could have
heard a pin drop. How Dave was able to tell the story and paint the 4′ by 4′
picture in 10 minutes was amazing. Banquets don’t happen by themselves and I
truly appreciate all Dave did to make this banquet “The Best Ever”!

I make it a goal to put everything I have into every presentation, and they seem to be bearing fruit. As we enter into the summer months, there are quite a few openings in my schedule and I would love to fill them. If you think one of my presentations could be a blessing to your ministry, please contact me. I can travel anywhere in the U.S. and am working toward traveling internationally as well. Have paint, will travel!

Please consider bringing me in. These speaking opportunities are a big part of what I feel called to do and part of the way I provide for my family. I promise to bring a scriptural, challenging, quality presentation for your gathering/congregation/event.
