This message is based on Jonah chapter 4. Jonah ran from God, got turned around by a storm and a giant fish, and then finally went and did what God told him to do. When Jonah did what God told him too do, he saw great success. The whole city repented. You’d think Jonah would be happy…

David ~ Awesome, convicting (me) message. My favorite question: “We want grace for ourselves. Why don’t we want it for those who hurt us?” I’m reminded of Philip Yancey’s writings (“What’s So Amazing About Grace”); Grace is the most unnatural response we can think of to share in this life. It’s entirely beyond our grasp to liberally apply grace to our lives (that’s a poor paraphrase).

      Thanks Lew,
I couldn’t agree more, but that I could preach something that would remind someone of Philip Yancey, well, that’s got to be God.
      God bless,
      Dave
