The Importance of Clarity in Art

Now I know this is a child’s artwork and it is highly excusable, but when we are trying to communicate a message with our work, especially when that message is the Gospel, it is really important to check yourself, or better yet have someone else have a look to see if you’re clear. This can be a tough thing for creatives. We already know what we’re trying to say so of course it’s clear to us but will it have the desired effect on the people we are trying to reach with our message?

This funny illustration has a really powerful message… Clarity is really, really important.
