IllustrationFriday.com Challenge: Puzzled II
One of my favorite images from the Bible is the image of the church as the body of Christ. That we are all part of something bigger than ourselves, that all the parts (everyone) are needed for the body to function. That we all have a role to play. That’s what this symbolizes. Are you plugged in, are you serving, are you using your gifts to the glory of God or are you the missing piece?

Why would anyone not want to become what they were created to be?

I, for one, am puzzled.

  1. Lew says:

David – Well said; I too am an aggressive proponent of becoming all that God has built & birthed us to be to His glory. This is a wonderful, meaning-filled, image.

Thank Lew, This has been a big part of what I am working on lately. The idea that we are all apart of the body of Christ and every part is needed.

  2. The meaning behind your image hits the nail right on the head. This is why I chose to create art- To remind people there is more to life than just our own selfish ambitions.
