Dry Bones Live
I got the inspiration for this video some time ago when reading the book of Ezekiel and the vision was rekindled by the song Spirit Wind by Casting Crowns. In Ezekiel 37, God commands Ezekiel to prophesy to a valley full of dry bones and when he does, God breathes life into them. It’s the same way for the Church today. There are days where we forget who we are, We walk around this world dry and dead and in desperate need of God to breathe life into us again. This video is a reminder that God wants to do just that for us.
Here is the video set to the music that helped to inspired it, Casting Crowns’ song Spirit Wind from their Album, Come to the Well.
Dave, How wonderfully you do use the talent/gift that the Lord has given you. This was truly a blessing to me, thankyou.
My husband and I have found a real Bible believing Church which we have attended three times – this week we will attend the All Age Bilble School which happens before the worship service. My husband will be with the adults and I will sit in with the children as that has always been my passion in the past to work with children ( taught Sunday School for many years previously ).
I think I shared previously that my elderly mother is dying of inoperable liver cancer… now it is 8 weeks since the doctor diagnosed and gave her 5 days to live. She is sending her children on an emotional roller coaster – some days she is okay and then she goes right down.
I would appreciate your prayers that the Lord just take her peacefully in her sleep. ( She is not saved – we have witnessed to her many times over the years and when she the diagnosis was first made I tried again and she was definitely not interested ).

Thank you Anne-Marie,
I am always blessed to hear that my work was a blessing. I am glad to hear that you found a good strong church. Sorry to hear about your mother. I will pray for all involved.
God bless,
Dave

HI… I am sorry to interupt your conversation with Dave, but… I have something to share which I hope will be of encouragement to you…
My mom got saved when she was 17 (about 1973), and since then she has been praying for the salvation of various family members, including my grandfather, her dad. During these years, my mom has wept, hoped, shared when he would let her, and waited, not seeing very many positive results. One thing we have seen is that where he used to not believe in God at all, he did graduate to saying that there is a HIGHER BEING. Well, he would not go beyond that.
Now, so many years later, my grandfather celebrated his 89th birthday in January. We have seen over these years that his health has been failing, but even more disturbing has been the fact that alzheimers is setting in. My mom has grieved over these things asking the Lord along the way to somehow provide a way into her dad’s heart. Seven days after his birthday, she was at their house helping to clean and organize some things. My grandfather made an unexpected and surprising comment about how “God and Jesus have been good” to him. My mom spun around shocked, but went with the moment. She asked him about his comment. She invited my dad to share his (intense) testimony, and also called in one of her sisters who is saved… Together they were able to witness to, explain some things, and rejoice together as my grandfather, FINALLY, accepted Jesus as His Saviour and Lord!!!!!
Please, though things might seem hopeless, especially as your mom seems to have so little time… please, keep praying with hope and faith!! You have time yet, as she is still with you. May God give you strength, hope, and faith to believe with your whole heart: Hang on to that faith with all of your heart, soul, mind, and strength.
We serve a living, all-powerful, all-knowing, and faithful God… Even in the end… He is able to work in amazing ways. Please trust in, cling to, rely on, and believe in Him. Cast the weight of your heart upon Him, for He cares for you, and ultimately HE is the one that brings the increase for the seeds we plant, the hope we bear, and the efforts we make.
Perhaps, this is also a very apt reminder… I was reading Ezekiel 37 this week myself, and I was struck by the fact that our God can restore, bring to life, heal, fix, help ANY SITUATION… even those seemingly lost causes or such with seemingly impossible situations. He proved that nothing is impossible with or for Him.
I pray with all my heart that you will also be able to see God’s working in your mother. The most stubborn person I have EVER known in my life is my grandfather. And God has reached him, and touched something in him to convince him. It is a miracle that I KNOW He can do for others… Believing with you…

OH!!! OH!!! I needed this!! I have just read the portion of scripture about this, and seeing the art for it… well, it was a blessing to my heart. Thank you!!! What a marvelous piece of work! And… so powerful. I mean, as I finished reading it I thought… Did these men go back to the temple to be examined like a man with leprosy might?? And then be viewed like, “where did you come from?” NO record of them, as most likely they had been dead for quite some time… we never hear what happened to them, we only know that God breathed back into them. Does that mean thoroughly ALIVE in all respects? because the prospect is full of HOPE, JOY, and amazing Peace because we serve a God who restores, fixes, mends, heals!!! wow, wow, wow!!!

I think it does mean fully alive, yes. I think it’s an encouragement to everyone of us who has felt a place of Spiritual dryness. God is right there ready to breathe new life into us and bring us back to what He wants us to be.
God bless,
Dave
