A few days ago I posted what I thought our response should be to controversial art. This video is the story of a young pastor who lived it out. It”s a little long but watching it til the end will give you a real blessing. Please check this out and spread it around. This is a true image of what it means to speak the truth in love and the impact it can have in a world where love can be hard to find. It’s not my own work so I can ask this without hesitation or fear of self promotion… Please, please, please take this video viral.

We often talk about how to deal with people with whom we disagree. While others protested and attacked, this guy shared the Gospel and it made all the difference.

Thanks so much Victoria, It is really good to hear from you again. Thanks for spreading this. Though I had nothing to do with creating this video, I feel it is immensely important to the church. Judging from the number of hits that video has received, on this blog, I’d say it’s resonating with a lot of people and that makes me very happy. :D
      God is good,
      Dave

This was a powerful enriching video. I put it on my Facebook page. I hope it goes viral also. It comes down to what an example Jesus was – doesn’t it? I remember that event in Colorado when the woman with the crowbar damaged the artwork and yet never saw an image of the original artwork – nor knew what was controversial about the first artwork that was damaged and led to this art of Jesus. Maybe it does not matter what the first artwork was because it led to this. Thank you to the young pastor John who began this wonderful dialogue with this artist, Enrique.

It is amazing when you think of it. What’s even more amazing is this act that really blew me away is really nothing more than obedience to Jesus. We could all do what this man has done.
      God bless,
      Dave

  6. Hi Dave, this is fantastic. I’ve posted it on my blog too. Thanks for sharing a true light that shines for Jesus. Brenda
